Oil Pump & Reaction Shaft Support

  1. Tighten front band adjusting screw until band is tight on front clutch retainer, preventing retainer from coming out with pump and damaging clutches.
  2. Remove oil pump housing retaining bolts. Install 2 slide hammers in threaded holes in pump housing flange. Operating both hammers evenly, withdraw pump and reaction shaft support assembly from case.
