Hydraulic Pressure Tests: Notes
- Before making pressure tests, ensure that fluid level is correct and in good condition. Check control linkage adjustments. Correct as necessary.
- Transmission fluid must be at normal operating temperature during all tests. Connect tachometer to engine. Raise vehicle to allow rear wheels to turn freely.
- Position tachometer so it can be read from under vehicle. Disconnect throttle rod and shift rod from transmission levers so they can be controlled from under vehicle.
