Seal Replacement
If transmission fluid is found inside cable housing, replace seal in adapter (if used) or speedometer pinion and seal assembly (Torqueflite models). Start seal and retainer ring in adapter. Using Seal Installer (C-4004), push seal and retaining ring into adapter until tool bottoms.
