Pump Bushing Replacement

  1. Place pump housing (rotor cavity down) on clean smooth surface. Drive bushing straight down and out of bore. Take care not to cock tool in bore.
  2. With hub end of pump housing down, drive new bushing into position in pump cavity. Using blunt punch, stake bushing in place. See Fig 1 .
  3. Using narrow blade knife, remove high points or burrs around staked area. DO NOT use file or any tool that would remove more material than necessary.
