Low-Reverse Servo & Band (Rear): Inspection

  1. Inspect seal for wear, deterioration and hardness. Inspect piston and plug for cracks, burrs, scores and wear. Piston plug must operate freely in piston. Inspect piston bore for scores or damage.
  2. Check springs for distortion. Inspect band lining for wear and bond of lining to band. If lining grooves are not visible at any portion of band, replace band.
