Front Clutch: Inspection
- Inspect plates and discs for flatness. Inspect facing material of driving discs. If discs are warped, cone-shaped or worn excessively, replace.
- Check discs and plates for worn splines or lugs. Check clutch retainer lug grooves and band mating surface for wear. Ensure check ball in retainer moves freely.
- Check seals for wear, hardness or cracking. Check spring(s), retainer and snap ring for distortion.
