AMERICAN Motors/Jeep

American Motors Eagle uses 998 model. Grand Wagoneer, J10 Pickup and Wrangler/YJ use 999 model. Cherokee, Comanche and Wagoneer use 904 model. Grand Wagoneer and J-20 trucks use 727 model. Lock-up torque converter may be used with any of these applications.

NOTE: All future references to transmission will be by number only (i.e. 727, 904, 999). Unless otherwise specified, model reference will include all models of that series. For example, reference to 904 will include 904, A-904, A-904LA and A-904T models.
