Front Wheel Drive Models

  1. Drain transaxle and remove oil pan. Apply 30 psi (2.1 kg/cm2 ) air pressure to low-reverse servo and measure gap between band ends. If less than .080" (2.0 mm), band is excessively worn and should be placed.
  2. To adjust band, loosen lock nut approximately 5 turns and tighten adjusting screw to 41 INCH lbs. (4.6 N.m). Back off adjusting screw as specified in LOW-REVERSE BAND ADJUSTMENT  . Hold screw in position and tighten lock nut.
