Fuel Level Gauge

System consists of fuel gauge, sending unit and on "CJ" Models, the CVR. Sending unit is located in fuel tank; gauge and CVR in instrument panel. Gauge is grounded through variable resistance of sending unit. A float attached to a slide rheostat follows fuel level and varying resistance increases or decreases indicator reading.
