DTC P0046-85: Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control "A" Circuit Range/Performance - Signal above allowable range: Action

- Refer to the appropriate System Wiring Diagram(s) and check the variable geometry turbocharger vane actuator circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the appropriate System Wiring Diagram(s) and check the variable geometry turbocharger vane actuator position sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Check the integrity of the variable geometry turbocharger vanes and linkage. Rectify as necessary
- Check the operation of the variable geometry turbocharger vane actuator. Install a new variable geometry turbocharger vane actuator as necessary
