Brake Pedal Switch

The brake pedal switch is a two pole switch mounted in the brake pedal bracket and operated by the brake pedal. The output connections of the two poles are hardwired to the BCM/GWM assembly. The input connection of one pole is a hardwired signal feed from the BCM/GWM assembly. The input connection of the second pole is hardwired to ground. The BCM/GWM assembly compares the signals from the two poles to confirm the status of the brake pedal switch, which it uses to operate the stop lamps.
