Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE:

- Raise and support the vehicle.WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
- Drain the differential lubricant.

- Remove the right rear halfshaft.
Refer to: Rear Halfshaft .
- Mark the position of the driveshaft in relation to the rear drive axle flange.NOTE: Make sure the driveshaft is installed to the rear drive axle flange using the alignment mark.

CAUTION: Make sure that the driveshaft is supported with suitable retaining straps.NOTE: Make sure that new bolts are installed.
- Remove and discard the 6 bolts.
- Collect the washers.
- Using suitable securing strap, reposition and support the driveshaft.
- Renew Part: Driveshaft to rear differential bolts Quantity: 6
Torque Specification: 75 Nm
- Remove the 2 nuts.
- Remove the bracket.
- Torque Specification: 24 Nm
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Torque Specification: 110 Nm

CAUTION: To avoid damage to the joint or gaiter, do not allow the driveshaft to hang.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Carefully lower the differential for access.
- Torque Specification: 192 Nm
- Release the driveshaft.
- Remove the differential.
