Removal And Installation: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 Jaguar XE and 2017 Jaguar XE. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. WARNING: This requires the aid of another technician.
    • Install the driveshaft.
    • install the 2 bolts.

    Torque Specification: 47.5 Nm 

    • make sure that you re-align the driveshaft to the differential output flange using the alignment mark.
    • Install the 6 output flange bolts.

    Renew Part: Driveshaft to front output flange bolts. 

    Torque Specification: 75 Nm 

    • Make sure that you re-align the driveshaft to the transmission flange using the alignment mark.
    • Install the 6 rear differential bolts.

    Renew Part: Driveshaft to rear differential bolts. 

    Torque Specification: 75 Nm 

    • Install the heatshield.
    • Install the 2 clips.
    • Install the 4 bolts.

    Torque Specification: 9 Nm 

  5. Install the exhaust system.

    Refer to: Exhaust System .

  6. Reset the emergency park release cable.
  7. Install the engine cover.

    Refer to: Engine Cover - Ingenium I4 2.0L Petrol .
