Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. CAUTION: Make sure the threads are clean and free from fuel.
    NOTE: During lubrication, keep the component vertical as shown.

    • Lubricate with Molykote W15 as shown.
    • Install the Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) sensor.

      Torque Specification: 35 Nm 

  2. Connect the fuel rail pressure sensor.
  3. Install the Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) material.
  4. Install the cowl panel.

    Refer to: Cowl Vent Screen (Installation).

  5. Install the engine cover.

    Refer to: Engine Cover - V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol (Installation).

  6. Re-connect the start up battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).
