Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the component is clean, free of foreign material and lubricant.
    • Install the fuel rail high pressure supply pipe.

    Renew Part: Fuel rail supply pipe(s) Quantity: 1

  3. CAUTION: Only tighten the union finger-tight at this stage.

  4. NOTE: Remove and discard the blanking cap.

    Torque Specification: 11 Nm

    Stage 1: 15 Nm 

    Stage 2: 62°

    Renew Part: EGR pipe to intake manifold O-ring seal Quantity: 1

    Renew Part: EGR cooler to EGR valve gasket Quantity: 1

    Torque Specification: 

    M6x20 7 Nm 

    M6x25 11 Nm

  27. Install the NVH material.

  28. Connect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .

  29. Bleed the fuel system.
    CAUTION: Bleed the fuel system by cranking the engine to purge the air from the system.
  30. Refer to: Engine Cover - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel .
