Brake Vacuum Pump - TDV6 3.0L Diesel: Removal

The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
- Remove the left secondary bulkhead panel.
- Drain the cooling system.
Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the brake vacuum pump.
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)
Remove the coolant pipe retaining bolt.
Remove the nut and release the coolant pipes from the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve.
Cut the tape and release the vacuum hose.
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles without Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)
Remove the coolant hose.
Remove the coolant hose retaining bolt.
Remove the nut and release the coolant pipes from the EGR valve.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
Remove the vacuum hose retaining bracket nut.
Remove the brake vacuum pump stud.

NOTE: Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
Remove the brake vacuum pump.
