Auto Stop/Start Switch

Right Hand Drive (RHD) vehicle is shown, Left Hand Drive (LHD) vehicle is similar.
The auto stop/start switch soft key is located in the IDMA , which is located in the center of the instrument panel. The auto stop/start switch soft key can be accessed from the 'Quick settings' menu on the IDMA. When the driver enables or disables the auto stop/start system, the request is transmitted from the IDMA to the BCM /GWM. The request message is transmitted through the HS CAN Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems bus.
