Instrument Panel Console (G2502358): Installation

NOTE: Only complete the step 1 - 9 if the components were previously removed.
- Install the air ionizer.
- Connect the ionizer hose.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
  Torque : 1.5 Nm
- Install the center bracket.
- Install the 8 clips.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 1.5 Nm
- Install the passenger airbag.
- Install and tighten the 8 nuts.
  Torque : 6.2 Nm
- Install the passenger air duct.
- Install and tighten the 3 screws.
  Torque : 1.5 Nm
- Install the passenger side A-pillar inner air duct.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
  Torque : 1.5 Nm
- Install the driver side air duct.
- Install and tighten the 3 screws.
  Torque : 1.5 Nm
- Install the HUD.
- Install and tighten the 4 screws.
  Torque : 3.5 Nm
- Install the driver side A-pillar inner air duct.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
  Torque : 1.5 Nm
NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.
- Install the A-pillar outer air duct.
- Install and tighten the screw.
  Torque : 1.5 Nm
- With assistance, reposition the instrument panel console in the correct location.
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the HUD.
- With assistance, install the instrument panel console into the 2 mounting brackets.
Install and tighten the 2 screws to instrument panel console.
Torque : 9 Nm
NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.

Install and tighten the driver side bolt to instrument panel console.

Torque : 9 Nm
Install and tighten the 2 upper bolts to instrument panel console.
Torque : 9 Nm
Connect the 3 electrical connectors to the passenger airbag.
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the duct air temperature sensors.
- Connect the electrical connector to the air ionizer.

- Install the instrument panel center carrier.
- Install and tighten the 2 upper screws.
  Torque : 3.5 Nm
- Install and tighten the 2 middle screws.
  Torque : 1.5 Nm
- Install and tighten the 2 lower screws.
  Torque : 9 Nm

Install the wiring harness clip to the center carrier.
- Position the 2 bluetooth® antennas in the correct location.
- Install the 2 antenna clips.
- Connect the electrical connector to the passive entry transceiver.
- Install the 2 bracket clips.
- Install the passenger upper trim to the instrument panel console.
- Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.
- Connect the electrical connector to the side speaker.
- Install the instrument panel side speaker.
- Make sure the 4 clips are correctly installed.
- Connect the electrical connector to the sunload sensor.
- Install the demist vent trim panel.
- Make sure the 6 clips are correctly installed.
Install the instrument panel speaker.

Install the IDMA

NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.

Install the A-pillar trim panel.

Install the instrument panel lower trim panel.

Install the glovebox.

Install the IPC.

Install the clockspring.

Install the floor console.

Connect the 12 V system.
