GLOVEBOX (G2730481): Installation

  1. NOTE: If equipped.
    • Connect the air duct to the glovebox.
    • Install the wiring harness clip.
    • Connect the electrical connector to the glovebox lamp.
    • Connect the electrical connector to the glovebox switch.
    • Install the glovebox.
    • Install and tighten the 3 lower screws.

      Torque  : 3.5 Nm 

    • Install and tighten the side screw.

      Torque  : 9 Nm 

    • Open the glovebox lid.
    • Install and tighten the 3 upper screws.

      Torque  : 3.5 Nm 

    • Install and tighten the 2 inner screws.

      Torque  : 9 Nm

    Install and tighten the 2 screws.

    Torque 

    Glovebox to instrument panel screw: 3.5 Nm 

    Glovebox to cross-car beam screw: 9 Nm 

    • Install the trim on to the side of the instrument panel.
    • Install the 8 clips.
  5. Position the door aperture seal in the correct location.
    • Install the 2 clips.
    • Connect the electrical connector to the footwell lamp.
    • Install the instrument panel lower trim.
    • Install the 3 fasteners.
  7. Install the floor console side trim panel.

    Refer to: FLOOR CONSOLE SIDE TRIM PANEL 

  8. Connect the 12 V system.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
