Transfer Case Control Module: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
    • Install the transfer case control module.
    • Install the 3 retaining bolts.

    Torque  : 10 Nm 

  2. Connect the 2 transfer case control module connectors.
    • Install the transmission support bracket.
    • Install the 6 retaining bolts.

    Torque  : 48 Nm 

  4. Install the transfer case bush mounting retaining bolt.

    Torque  : 103 Nm 

  5. Remove the transmission jack.

    General Equipment: Transmission jack 

    • Install the exhaust sensor and wiring harness to the transfer case.
    • Connect the wiring harness retaining clip.
    • Install the 2 retaining bolts.
    • Install the exhaust sensor cover.
    • Install the 3 retaining bolts.
  8. Install the air deflector.

    Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD

  9. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

    • Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, calibrate the transfer case control module.
    • Clear any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and check for correct operation.
