Pre Selective Catalyst Reduction NOX Sensor (G2272231): Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
    • Make sure the anti-seize compound does not contact the pre Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) NOx sensor tip.
    • If accidentally dropped or knocked install a new pre (SCR) NOx sensor.

    Using the special tool, install the pre Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) NOx sensor.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1666 

    Torque  : 48 Nm 

  2. Install the pre SCR NOx sensor module.
  3. Install the air deflector.

    Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD

    • Install the wiring harness into the 4 clips.
    • Connect the electrical connector to the pre SCR NOx sensor module.
  5. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
