Left Steering Wheel SWITCHPACK

1 Volume increase switch
2 Seek, next radio preset, next track, scroll up telephone list switch
3 Telephone answer/end call switch
4 Voice control switch
5 Mode switch
6 Volume decrease switch
7 Menu/OK switch (Instrument Cluster (IC) menu control)
8 Seek, previous radio preset, previous track, scroll down telephone list switch

The left steering wheel switchpack is located on the left side of the steering wheel.

Depending on vehicle specification, the left steering wheel switchpack is connected via a Local Interconnect Network (LIN) bus to the following:

The switches are a resistive ladder type which applies a different voltage via LIN bus to the AHU or the IMC in response to different switches being operated.

The left steering wheel switchpack controls the following switch functions:

NOTE: The switches to scroll up and down lists of calls or phonebook entries are only applicable to vehicles with the InControl Touch Pro systems.

The Menu/OK switch is for use with the Instrument Cluster (IC) menu.

The left steering wheel switchpack is located on the left side of the steering wheel.

Depending on vehicle specification, the left steering wheel switchpack is connected to the following:

The switches are a resistive ladder type which applies a different voltage to the switchpack. The left steering wheel switchpack converts the voltage received from the switches into a Local Interconnect Network (LIN) bus message. The LIN bus message is passed to the AHU or the IMC via the Steering Wheel Module (SWM).

The left steering wheel switchpack controls the following telephone switch functions:

NOTE: The above selections using the left steering wheel switchpack control selections displayed in the Instrument Cluster (IC) message center.
