- Evidence of water ingress/oxidation/corrosion on camera housing

- Remove and inspect the camera bezel on the tailgate
- Inspect for signs of water ingress and/or corrosion in and around the camera assembly/bezel
- If clear signs of water ingress and/or corrosion are present, install a new rear view camera and bezel Refer to: REAR PROXIMITY CAMERA
