Suspension Air Supply Unit Expansion Chamber (G2431953): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Do not reuse the Airline connector. Always install a new Airline connector every time it is released.

    Connect the new Airline adapter to the suspension air supply unit expansion chamber.

    Refer to: AIRLINE CONNECTOR - (+) AIR SUSPENSION .

    Renew Part: Airline connector(s)  Quantity: 1  .

    Torque  : 3.5Nm 

  2. CAUTION: Make sure all drilling debris is removed before assembling the components.

    Clean and inspect the seals.

  3. Using new rivets measuring 4 x 12 mm, install the suspension air supply unit expansion chamber.
  4. CAUTION: Do not reuse the Airline connector. Always install a new Airline connector every time it is released.

    Connect the inner Airline.

    Refer to: AIRLINE CONNECTOR - (+) AIR SUSPENSION .

    Renew Part: Airline connector(s)  Quantity: 1  .

    Torque  : 3.5Nm 

  5. Using new rivets measuring 4 x 12 mm, install the suspension air supply unit inner cover.
    • Install the inner assembly to the outer assembly.
    • Install the NVH.
  7. Using new rivets measuring 4 x 12 mm, install the suspension air supply unit outer cover.
    • Install the air suspension compressor assembly.
    • Install and tighten the 4 nuts.

    Torque  : 10Nm 

  9. CAUTION: Do not reuse the Airline connector. Always install a new Airline connector every time it is released.
    • Connect the outer Airline.

    Refer to: AIRLINE CONNECTOR - (+) AIR SUSPENSION .

    Renew Part: Airline connector(s)  Quantity: 1 

    Torque  : 3.5Nm

    • Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
    • Install the wiring harness clip.
    • Install the loadspace liner tray.
    • Install 4 new retaining clips.

    Renew Part: Clip - push on steel  Quantity: 4 

    • Install the tire repair kit.
    • Install the tow eye.
    • Install the charging cable.
  12. Install the loadspace lower trim.
  13. Connect the startup battery ground cable

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .

  14. Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, pressurize the air suspension system.

    Refer to: AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM DEPRESSURIZE AND PRESSURIZE .
