Tailgate Strut (G2220031): Removal

- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

- Remove the tailgate trim panel.
Refer to: TAILGATE TRIM PANEL .
- Support the tailgate.
- Remove the clip.
- Release the tailgate strut.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the grommet.
- Remove the stud.
- Remove the tailgate strut.
