Tailgate Strut (G2220031): Installation

    • Install the tailgate strut with the stud.
    • Install and tighten the stud.

      Torque  : 10Nm

    • Feed through the wiring harness and secure the grommet.
    • Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Secure the tailgate strut with the clip on the body side.
  3. Install the tailgate trim panel.

    Refer to: TAILGATE TRIM PANEL .

  4. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
