Rear Door (G2201936): Installation

NOTE: Only do the following step(s) if the component was previously removed.
- Check that the rear intrusion beam and the rear door panel are always in contact via the antiflutter bead.
- Tighten the nut.
Torque : 22Nm
- Hook the rear door lower moulding to the rear door.
- Slightly rotate the rear door lower moulding to locate the locator pins.
- Rotate the rear door lower moulding fully to ensure the 10 clips have engaged properly.
- Install the door wiring harness.

- Install the rear door lower trim.
- Install the 4 clips.

- Install the rear door frame finisher.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
- Install the rear door window runner seal.

- Install the 2 rear door hinges.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
Torque : 35Nm

- Install the door check arm.
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
Torque : 10Nm
- Install the Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) material.

NOTE: Make sure that the component is installed to the position noted on removal.
Install the new door seal.
Renew Part: Door seal Quantity: 1 .

WARNING: The component(s) may be heavy. Take extra care when handling.NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.
- Install the rear door.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque : 13Nm
- Connect the door wiring harness to the body wiring harness.

- Attach the rear door check arm to the B-pillar.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque : 13Nm
- Install the rear door bass speaker.

- Install the rear door latch assembly.

- Install the rear door window regulator.
Refer to: REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR .
- Install the rear door window.
Refer to: REAR DOOR WINDOW .
- Install the rear door fixed window.
Refer to: REAR DOOR FIXED WINDOW .
- Connect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
