Orifice Tube (G2401428): Removal

CAUTION:
Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
NOTE:
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Evacuate the Air Conditioning (A/C) system.
Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING .
- Remove the Direct Current to Direct Current converter (DC/DC).
Refer to: DIRECT CURRENT TO DIRECT CURRENT CONVERTER .
- Remove the auxiliary battery.
Refer to: AUXILIARY BATTERY .
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the auxiliary battery tray.
- Remove the 2 A/C pipe bracket nuts.
- Remove the 2 A/C pipe bracket bolts.
- Remove the bolt.
- Disconnect the Low Pressure (LP) A/C pipe from the connector tube.
- Remove and discard the 2 O-ring seals.
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the connector tube.
- Remove the nut.
- Disconnect the High Pressure (HP) A/C pipe from the shut off valve.
Remove the A/C pipe clip.
- Remove the bolt.
- Release the 2 A/C pipes from the evaporator.
- Remove the 2 A/C pipes.
- Remove and discard the 6 O-ring seals.
Mark the installed position of the A/C pipe.
Disconnect the A/C pipe coupling.

Remove the orifice tube.
