Orifice Tube (G2401428): Installation

Lubricate the 2 O-ring seals with clean refrigerant oil.

Install the orifice tube to the position illustrated.
- Connect the Air Conditioning (A/C) pipe coupling, aligning the marks made in the removal step.
- Tighten the coupling.
  Torque : 20Nm
- Install 6 new O-ring seals to the 2 A/C pipes.
  Renew Part: Air conditioning pipes O-ring seals Quantity: 6 .
- Lubricate the 6 new O-ring seals with clean refrigerant oil.
  Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the 2 A/C pipes.
- Connect the 2 A/C pipes to the evaporator.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 8Nm
Install the A/C pipe clip.
- Connect the High Pressure (HP) A/C pipe to the shut off valve.
- Install and tighten the nut.
  Torque : 12Nm
- Install the connector tube.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 12Nm
- Install 2 new O-ring seals to the Low Pressure (LP) pipe.
  Renew Part: Air conditioning pipes O-ring seals Quantity: 2 .
- Lubricate the 2 new O-ring seals with clean refrigerant oil.
  Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the LP A/C pipe to the connector tube.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 12Nm
- Install the 2 A/C pipe bracket bolts.
  Torque : 8Nm
- Install the 2 A/C pipe bracket nuts.
  Torque : 8Nm
- Install the auxiliary battery tray.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 12Nm
Install the auxiliary battery.

Install the Direct Current to Direct Current converter (DC/DC).
Refer to: DIRECT CURRENT TO DIRECT CURRENT CONVERTER .
Charge the air conditioning (A/C) system.
Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING .
