Electric Vehicle Battery Cooler Assembly (G2220040): Removal

CAUTION:
Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- Recover the Air Conditioning (A/C) refrigerant.
Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING .
- Remove the front compartment left trim panel.
Refer to: FRONT COMPARTMENT LEFT TRIM PANEL .
- Remove the front compartment right trim panel.
Refer to: FRONT COMPARTMENT RIGHT TRIM PANEL .
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Remove the front stowage compartment.
Refer to: FRONT STOWAGE COMPARTMENT .
Remove the 2 lower cover retaining screws.
Remove the lower cover.
- Drain the electric drive cooling system.
Refer to: ELECTRIC DRIVE COOLING SYSTEM DRAIN AND FILL .

WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Release the 2 electric vehicle battery cooler coolant hoses.
Release the electric vehicle battery cooler support bracket.
- Release the wiring harness from the clip.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the electric vehicle battery cooler assembly.
Remove the 2 retaining bolts and the bracket.
