Electric Drive Cooler (G2220039): Removal

Recover the Air Conditioning (A/C) refrigerant.
Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING .
Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
Remove the undershield.
Refer to: UNDERSHIELD .
Remove the front compartment left trim panel.
Refer to: FRONT COMPARTMENT LEFT TRIM PANEL .
Remove the front compartment right trim panel.
Refer to: FRONT COMPARTMENT RIGHT TRIM PANEL .
Remove the front stowage compartment.
Refer to: FRONT STOWAGE COMPARTMENT .

Remove the 2 lower cover retaining screws.

Remove the lower cover.
Drain the electric drive cooling system.
Refer to: ELECTRIC DRIVE COOLING SYSTEM DRAIN AND FILL .
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

Release the 2 electric drive coolant hoses.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the electric drive cooler.
