Driver Side Vent (G2217921): Removal

NOTE:

  • This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
  1. CAUTION: Do not use excessive force to remove the component.

    • Release the door aperture seal.
    • Release the 4 clips.
    • Release the plastic retainers.
    • Remove the trim panel.

    • Remove the 2 screws.
    • Release the 2 clips.
    • Remove the driver side face level vent assembly.
    NOTE: Only perform the following steps if a new component is to be installed.

    • Remove the 2 screws.
    • Carefully release the 2 clips.
    • Remove the retaining bracket.
  4. CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.

    • Carefully release the 6 clips.
    • Remove the driver side face level vent.
