Driver Side Vent (G2217921): Installation

  1. NOTE: Only perform this step if the component was previously removed.
    • Install the driver side face level vent to the assembly.
    • Secure with the 6 clips.
    • Install the retaining bracket.
    • Secure with the 2 clips.
    • Install and tighten the 2 screws.
  2. CAUTION: Make sure that excessive force is not used. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.
    • Install the driver side face level vent.
    • Secure with the 2 clips.
    • Install and tighten the 2 screws.
  3. CAUTION: Do not use excessive force to install the component.
    • Position the trim panel with the plastic retainer and the locator pins.
    • Secure the 4 clips.
    • Secure the door aperture seal.
