Coolant Isolation Valve (G2225332): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
Drain the climate control system and electric drive unit coolant system.
Refer to: CLIMATE CONTROL COOLING SYSTEM DRAIN AND FILL .
Remove the auxiliary battery.
Refer to: AUXILIARY BATTERY .

Remove the auxiliary battery tray.

Release the 2 coolant hoses.
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the wiring harness.

- Disconnect the wiring harness electrical connector.
- Release the coolant hose retaining clip.
- Position the coolant hoses to one side.

Release the 3 coolant hoses from the coolant isolation valve.

Remove the coolant isolation valve.
