This procedure involves work on components associated with the High Voltage (HV) system. Only technicians qualified to EVCP level or higher are allowed to perform this procedure . It is mandated that all technicians involved with the steps in this procedure have read and understood the Electric Vehicle Safety Rules.

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

Power Down the High Voltage (HV) system. Only technicians qualified to EVAP level are allowed to perform this procedure . It is mandated that all technicians involved with the steps in this procedure have read and understood the Electric Vehicle Safety Rules.

- Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, drain the climate control system and Electric Drive Unit (EDU) cooling system.

General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment
- Remove the cowl panel.
Refer to: COWL PANEL .

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the wiring harness.
- Release the wiring harness retaining clip from the front compartment cross brace.
- Remove the front compartment cross brace.
Release the wiring harness and position to one side.
Disconnect the 3 coolant hoses and position to one side.
Release the 2 coolant hose retaining clips from the coolant degas separator assembly and position to one side.
Remove the coolant degas separator.
