WARNING: Jaguar Land Rover Electric Vehicle Competent Person (EVCP) trained technicians only.
This procedure involves work on components associated with the High Voltage (HV) system. Only technicians qualified to EVCP level or higher are allowed to perform this procedure . It is mandated that all technicians involved with the steps in this procedure have read and understood the Electric Vehicle Safety Rules.

- Evacuate the Air Conditioning (A/C) system.
Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING .

Power Down the HV system. Only technicians qualified to EVAP level or higher are allowed to perform this procedure . It is mandated that all technicians involved with the steps in this procedure have read and understood the Electric Vehicle Safety Rules.
Refer to: HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM POWER DOWN/UP - AUXILIARY CIRCUIT .
- Remove the front subframe.
Refer to: FRONT SUBFRAME .
Remove the Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) material.
- Before handling any HA
electrical connectors the person(s) completing this procedure must refer to the 'High Voltage Electrical Connector Operation and Inspection' document.
Refer to: HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR OPERATION AND INSPECTION .
- Release the 2 pipes from the A/C compressor.
- Release the A/C compressor HA electrical connector.
- Release the A/C compressor wiring harness electrical connector.
Remove and discard the A/C pipe seals.
Remove the A/C compressor.
