Heated Windshield (If Equipped)

The HVAC control module controls the operation of 2 electrical heater elements to rapidly defrost/demist the windshield.
To operate the heated windshield, the heated windshield switch on the Integrated Control Panel (ICP) is pressed. The ICP sends a message through the private Controller Area Network (CAN) bus to the HVAC. The HVAC sends a message through the High Speed (HS) CAN Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems bus to the Body Control Module/Gateway Module (BCM/GWM), to energize the heated windshield.
