Air Conditioning Accumulator

The Air Conditioning (A/C) accumulator is located in the front compartment.
The A/C accumulator stores excess refrigerant and compressor oil. The A/C accumulator provides the correct mixture of oil and refrigerant vapor for the electric A/C compressor.
The A/C accumulator also contains a filter element to filter the refrigerant and a desiccant to dry the refrigerant.
