Toe Link - Vehicles With: PHEV (G2806793): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Only fully tighten the nut when the wheel alignment has been checked and is within specification.
    • Install the bolt.
    • Install and tighten the nut.

      Torque 

      Stage 1: 60 Nm 

      Stage 2: 90° 

  2. CAUTION: Only fully tighten the nut when the wheel alignment has been checked and is within specification.
    • Install the new bolt.

      Renew Part: Toe link to knuckle bolt(s) Quantity: 1 . 

    • Install and tighten the new nut.

      Renew Part: Toe link to knuckle nut(s) Quantity: 1 . 

      Torque 

      Stage 1: 80 Nm 

      Stage 2: 60° 

  3. NOTE: Steps 3 - 4 are only applicable to the left side component.

    Install the HV  integrated box.

    Refer to: HIGH VOLTAGE INTEGRATED BOX

  4. Power up the HV  system. Only technicians qualified to EVAP  level or higher are allowed to perform this procedure. It is mandated that all technicians involved with the steps in this procedure have read and understood the EV  Safety Rules.

    Refer to: PHEV POWER DOWN/UP - COMPLETE VEHICLE - PATHFINDER

  5. NOTE: Steps 5 - 7 are only applicable to the right side component.
    • Install the right undershield.
    • Install and tighten the 3 nuts.

      Torque  : 8 Nm 

    • Install and tighten the 6 bolts.

      Torque  : 8 Nm 

    • Install the 9 fasteners.
    • Install the rear center undershield.
    • Install and tighten the 4 nuts.

      Torque  : 8 Nm 

    • Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque  : 8 Nm 

    • Install the rear wheel arch air deflector.
    • Install the 3 fasteners.
  6. NOTE: Using Jaguar Land Rover approved equipment, check and if necessary adjust the wheel alignment. SRO must be claimed separately.

    Check the rear wheel alignment and adjust if required.
