Rear SUBFRAME Bush (G2496457): Installation

    Install the special tool to the rear subframe bush.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-502-028 

  2. NOTE: Make sure that the new bush is correctly oriented before installation.

    Use the special tools to install the new bush to the rear subframe.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-502-027-3  , JLR-502-022  , JLR-502-029  , JLR-502-027-2  , JLR-502-027-1 

  3. CAUTION: Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the component.

    Do not allow the lower edge of the rear subframe bush to contact the special tool. Make sure a 2 mm gap is visible.

    Remove the special tool.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-502-028

    Use the special tools to fully install the rear subframe bush.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-502-027-1  , JLR-502-022  , JLR-502-027-3

    Remove the special tool.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-502-029 

  7. Install the rear subframe.

    Refer to: REAR SUBFRAME 

  8. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
