Lower Arm (G1899816): Removal
CAUTION:
- To avoid damage to the Constant Velocity joint (CV) or CV boot, do not allow the halfshaft to hang.
- Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.
NOTE:

- Before replacing the Lower Arm, make sure to have followed the diagnosis and testing procedure.

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the spring.

CAUTION:
- As the halfshaft is still installed extra care must be taken when positioning the jack stand to support the assembly. Failure to follow this instruction might disassemble or damage the CV.
- Take extra care when handling the assembly. Failure to follow this instruction might result in damage to the CV boot.
Using a suitable stand, support the wheel knuckle.
Torque : 9 Nm
Remove and discard the lower control arm bolt.
Renew Part: Lower control arm bolt(s) Quantity: 1 .
Torque
Stage 1: 110 Nm
Stage 2: 300°
Remove and discard the lower control arm nut and bolt.
Renew Part: Rear lower arm to subframe nut and bolt Quantity: 1 .
Torque
Stage 1: 110 Nm
Stage 2: 300°
Torque : 9 Nm
