Right Heated Oxygen Sensor (G2244153): Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

    Refer to: LIFTING

  2. Remove the engine undershield.

    Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD - V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL

  3. Remove the right catalytic converter.

    Refer to: RIGHT CATALYTIC CONVERTER

  4. CAUTION: Make sure the Heated Oxygen Sensor (H02S) wiring harness is not twisted more than 180 degrees and is not in contact with the exhaust.

    • Disconnect the electrical connector and release the 3 clips.
    • Using the special tool, remove the right Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).

      Special Tool(s): 310-121
