Post Catalyst Heated Oxygen Sensor (G2278735): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

CAUTION: Make sure the anti-seize compound does not contact the tip of the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).

NOTE: If the original sensor is to be installed, apply Castrol Optimol Paste MF or Bostic Never-Seez Regular Grade NS42B to the thread of the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).

Using the special tool, install the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).

Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1666

Torque : 48 Nm
- Install the wiring harness to the 2 clips.
- Connect the electrical connector.
Install the engine undershield.

Connect the startup battery ground cable.
