Mid Catalyst Heated Oxygen Sensor (G2278769): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. CAUTION: Make sure the anti-seize compound does not contact the tip of the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).
    NOTE: If the original sensor is to be installed, apply Castrol Optimol Paste MF or Bostic Never-Seez Regular Grade NS42B to the thread of the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).

    Install the mid catalyst Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).

    Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1666 

    Torque  : 48 Nm 

  2. Install the catalytic converter and Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) assembly.

    Refer to: CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND GASOLINE PARTICULATE FILTER ASSEMBLY - VEHICLES WITH: ROW SPECIFICATION .

  3. Install the engine undershield.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .

  4. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
