Electric Cooling Fan And Shroud (G1998225): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. NOTE: This step is only required if previously removed.
    • Install the water pump.
    • Torque  : 9 Nm 
    • Install the cooling fan motor and shroud.
    • Torque  : 10 Nm 
  3. Attach the clips to the cooling fan motor and shroud.
  4. Connect the coolant hoses.
  5. Install the dirty air duct.
  6. Install the vent hose.
  7. Install the charge air radiator.

    Refer to: CHARGE AIR COOLER (G1998338) .

  8. Vacuum fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING (G1998221)  .

  9. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
