Coolant Expansion Tank (G2760192): Removal

WARNING:
Make sure the engine cooling system is cool prior to doing this procedure.
CAUTION:
Engine coolant will damage the paint finished surfaces. If spilled, immediately remove the coolant and clean the area with water.
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

- Remove the coolant expansion tank filler cap.
- Use a suitable syringe to remove as much coolant fluid as possible from the coolant expansion tank.
- See FigureCAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.
Disconnect the 2 coolant pipe connectors.

- Disconnect the electrical connector from the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.
- Release the 5 wiring harness clips.
- See Figure
- Remove the bolt.
- Reposition the coolant expansion tank to get access to the coolant hose and the electrical connector.
- See FigureNOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
- Clamp the coolant hose with a hose clamp.
- Disconnect the coolant hose connector.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the coolant expansion tank level sensor.
- Remove the coolant expansion tank.
