Turbocharger (G2270371): Installation

Install a new turbocharger gasket.

Renew Part: Turbocharger to exhaust manifold gasket Quantity: 1  .

• Install the turbocharger.
• Install and tighten the 2 new nuts.

  Renew Part: Exhaust manifold to turbocharger nuts Quantity: 2  .

  Torque  : 10 Nm

Install and tighten the 2 new nuts.

Renew Part: Exhaust manifold to turbocharger nuts Quantity: 2  .

Torque  : 10 Nm

Tighten the nuts in the sequence illustrated.

Torque  : 25 Nm

Connect the electrical connector.

• Install 2 new O-ring seals.

  Renew Part: Turbocharger oil return pipe seals Quantity: 2  .

• Install the pipe in the sequence illustrated.
• Install and tighten the bolt.

  Torque  : 11 Nm

• Connect the pipe.
• Connect the electrical connector.
• Install the clip.

Install and tighten the two bolts.

Torque  : 25 Nm

• Install a new gasket.

  Renew Part: Exhaust pipe to turbocharger gasket Quantity: 1  .

• Install and tighten a new clamp.

  Renew Part: Front exhaust clamp Quantity: 1  .

  Torque  : 18 Nm

• Install the 2 pipes.
• Install and tighten the bolt.

  Torque  : 12 Nm

• Install 2 new washers.

  Renew Part: Turbocharger oil feed pipe banjo bolt washers Quantity: 2  .

• Install the pipe.
• Install and tighten the bolt.

  Torque  : 18 Nm

• Install the heatshield.
• Install the clip.

• Install the heatshield.
• Install and tighten the 3 bolts.

  Torque  : 9 Nm

• Install the heatshield.
• Install and tighten the 4 bolts.

  Torque  : 9 Nm
