Rear Silencer (G2343200): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

NOTE:
- This step is only required if previously removed.
- This step is required for the left and the right rear exhaust silencer.
- Install the exhaust sound electrical valve actuator.
- Install and tighten the 3 nuts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the surrounding components.
- With the aid of another technician, carefully install the rear right exhaust silencer.
- Install the 2 exhaust hanger brackets onto the rear right exhaust silencer.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the wiring harness clip.
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the surrounding components.
- With the aid of another technician, carefully install the rear left exhaust silencer.
- Install the 2 exhaust hanger brackets onto the rear left exhaust silencer.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the wiring harness clip.

- Make sure that the rear silencer and exhaust pipe are fully engaged before tightening the clamp.
- Make sure the exhaust tailpipe is equally positioned to the bumper as illustrated.
Install and tighten the 2 new exhaust clamps.
Renew Part: Rear exhaust silencer clamp Quantity: 2 .

Torque : 55 Nm
