Front Section
The front section comprises of 2 exhaust pipes each incorporating a catalytic converter and a GPF. Each catalytic converter is joined to an inlet pipe with a flange that is attached to each of the exhaust manifold.
Each exhaust pipe of the front section is equipped with a mid and post catalyst HO2S. Each HO2S monitors the exhaust gases leaving the engine. The PCM uses this information to provide accurately metered quantities of fuel to the combustion chambers. This makes sure the most efficient use of fuel and to minimize the exhaust emissions.
A curved exhaust pipe from each catalytic converter locates into the cross-over pipe of the center section.
