Active Exhaust System

The active exhaust system allows exhaust gases to bypass the rear silencer to produce a more sporty exhaust sound during performance driving.
The active exhaust system comprises:
- Active exhaust switch
- Active Exhaust Module (AEM)
- 2 exhaust valves (each valve consists of a butterfly valve and an electric actuator).
The operation of the active exhaust system is controlled by the AEM, which receives instruction on the valve position from the PCM.
